Roquan Smith had quite a highlight-reel play during the Baltimore Ravens’ home win over the Miami Dolphins.

Smith came away with a one-handed interception off Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa during the late stages of the second quarter. The all-around linebacker made it look quite easy on the very first interception of his season.

Ray Lewis tuned in to watch his former team pick up a 56-19 victory over Miami, and he was left in sheer awe of Smith’s takeaway.

"Ro was that one hand ?!?" Lewis wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

During his postgame press conference, Smith took some time to share just what went behind his game-changing play.

"It was kind of funny, because I think it was on the first or second drive when 10 [Tyreek Hill] caught it to our right on the ‘Marlo’ one, I seen it then, and I was like, ‘I didn’t get there fast enough,'" Smith said. "So, I was like, ‘Crap,’ thinking about it, and I was like, ‘If I get that again.' … And then I knew it had to be an in-breaking route, so I said, ‘I’m going to just run,’ and then I ran.

"I couldn’t believe it, and then I seen it. I was like, ‘Crap, let me stick this arm out,’ and that’s what happened."

Smith was all over the field against the Tagovailoa-led Dolphins offense. He tallied seven total tackles and two passes defended on the day. He also helped hold the Dolphins to under 20 points, which they had not done since their 21-14 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9.

The Ravens are set to host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18. It remains to be seen whether Smith will end up starting in the divisional contest.
