The Kansas City Chiefs managed to land five players on the 2024 AFC Pro Bowl roster, yet some were left off who were truly deserving.

The five Chiefs who made it to the Pro Bowl were quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce, center Creed Humphrey, left guard Joe Thuney and defensive tackle Chris Jones.

While those guys earned it, a handful of Chiefs players definitely should have made the list, while some others were surely in the conversation. Here are the biggest Chiefs snubs from the 2024 Pro Bowl roster:

CB L'Jarius Sneed

The most egregious omission from the AFC side of the Pro Bowl as a whole was cornerback L'Jarius Sneed, who was selected as an alternate. Sneed has been one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL this season, shutting down players like Eagles receiver A.J. Brown and Bills WR Stefon Diggs. Sneed will likely be named All-Pro this season, but should've gotten his trip to Orlando as well.

K Harrison Butker

Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker has missed just two field goals and zero extra points in 2023. The kicker selected over Butker — Ravens' Justin Tucker — has missed five field goals and one extra point. Butker, meanwhile, is the only kicker in the AFC with at least 16 tries to be perfect on kicks of 40+ yards. The numbers don't lie: Butker should've made it in.

CB Trent McDuffie

An argument could be made that the Chiefs should have had two cornerbacks in the Pro Bowl. McDuffie should at least have been named an alternate — his 82.9 defense grade from PFF ranks third among AFC cornerbacks that have played at least half of the season. Meanwhile, Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey, who made it in the Pro Bowl, has a much lower grade over just nine games played.

Other players who didn't make it that may have an argument include defensive end George Karlaftis and running back Isiah Pacheco, though their competition was stiff. It's worth noting that five Chiefs were selected as alternates: Sneed, Pacheco, right guard Trey Smith, and linebackers Willie Gay Jr. and Nick Bolton.
