The San Francisco 49ers are treating their Week 18 game with the Los Angeles Rams as if it's a normal week despite having already clinched the number one seed in the NFC.
Kyle Shanahan has only definitively said one player will not feature, and that is starting quarterback Brock Purdy.
As such, the 49ers will have been happy with some positive updates on the injury front as they look to strike a balance between maintaining some momentum going into the postseason and ensuring they do not put key players at undue risk of injury.

Injury report observations
The only real changes from Wednesday are positive ones for San Francisco, with guard Jon Feliciano back in practice following a back issue and swing tackle Jaylon Moore practicing in full having missed the Week 17 win over the Washington Commanders with a concussion.
Though the Niners might want to keep Feliciano fresh for the playoff run, his versatility in being able to play both guard spots and center gives the 49ers more options with which to get through the game up front. Ben Bartch is expected to take some snaps at center in the finale.
Similarly, Moore returning to the fray means the 49ers don't need to rely on Trent Williams for too long despite Kyle Shanahan's insistence that the All-Pro left tackle does not need two weeks off.
Running back Elijah Mitchell appears to have shaken off the illness that kept him out of Wednesday's session. He and Jordan Mason will likely split the workload in Christian McCaffrey's absence.
A second day of limited practice for Jauan Jennings leaves some room for doubt as to whether he will return and allow the 49ers to pull Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk early by giving them some additional receiver depth.
But at the same position, another day of full practice for return man Ray-Ray McCloud indicates his activation after being designated to return from injured reserve should not be too far away.
