The Philadelphia Eagles made one roster move ahead of their Week 18 road matchup against the New York Giants.

The team called up safety Tristin McCollum to their active roster for Sunday.

McCollum adds extra depth to the secondary and special teams.

The second-year cornerback initially signed a future/reserve contract deal with the Eagles last January. He spent the entire offseason with the Birds before he was released during final roster cuts and signed to the practice squad.

McCollum made his NFL debut for the Eagles in Week 4 against the Washington Commanders and he was elevated a second time when the Eagles first played the Giants in Week 16. Through both matchups, McCollum played a total of 37 snaps on special teams.

He was especially a huge help on Christmas Day against the Giants where Eagles' wide receiver Britain Covey returned three punts for 66 yards.
