Cleveland Browns sit at 3-2 in a pretty good spot but are a team that could look to make an in-season trade if the right one comes about. We will see all of the contenders looking to make small moves, or big if one presents itself. On the other hand, we’re going to see a lot of the bad teams just sell-off.

It isn’t a sure thing the Browns make a trade, it would not surprise me if they didn’t. The roster is set on defense and they just need some consistency on offense the most.

Here’s a look into three options for the Browns, perhaps.

LT Garett Bolles, Denver Broncos

Bolles would be the big move for the Browns if it were to happen. Trading for Bolles would be to replace the struggling Jedrick Wills Jr. Bolles is an instant upgrade that you will be paying $16 million next year, then he’s a free agent following next season. At 31 years old, does he really want to stick around with the losing that looks like it will continue for the Broncos?

WR Marquise Brown, Arizona Cardinals

I saw this idea floated on the X timeline yesterday in a tweet I’ll share above and it’s one I could get behind. This season, the Browns aren’t stretching the field a ton. They hoped Marquise Goodwin would be that guy, but it just has not happened yet. Brown could perhaps be that guy, he’s in the last year of his deal with the Cardinals and likely won’t resign. Brown is on pace for a 1,000-yard season in what would be the second time in his career. Maybe he’s the deep threat the Browns need to push the offense over the hump.

RB D’Ernest Johnson, Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars are not using Johnson really at all. He didn’t play in Week 7 on Thursday Night Football and had just seven runs on the season. Cleveland could benefit from having Johnson back in the running back room, a place where he’s seen some success with limited opportunity. A round-seven pick swap gets this deal done.
