The Minnesota Vikings played on Monday, so the team did not hold practice on Wednesday. Nevertheless, the team still released a projected injury report.

One key starter would have missed practice, while another key starter would have been limited.

Tight end TJ Hockenson is reportedly dealing with a foot injury, while Ezra Cleveland continues to be hobbled by his own foot injury.

Cleveland missed the game on MNF, ceding the starting role to Dalton Risner. Hockenson led all receivers on both teams with 11 catches on MNF. Losing the tight end would obviously be a big blow to an offense that's already without Justin Jefferson.

Elsewhere, linebacker Brian Asamoah II would have missed Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury. Jalen Nailor is still limited with a hamstring injury. The speedy receiver recently had his 21-day window activated, so he will soon need to be added to the active roster and revert back to injured reserve.

Asamoah has fallen out of favor after being listed as a starter in the preseason. The linebacker has fallen behind rookie UDFA Ivan Pace Jr. and Troy Dye in the pecking order.

Be sure to check back to see Thursday's injury report later today.
