The Buffalo Bills gave the fanbase a reason to celebrate with a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccanneers on 'Thursday Night Football.' While it doesn't erase some of the issues the team is facing, it's a much-needed step in the right direction.

From Khalil Shakir taking over the game to Dalton Kincaid scoring his first touchdown, and the offensive line allowing Allen to dissect the defense to the tune of three touchdowns and one interception, it was all smiles in Buffalo after the victory.

When speaking to the media, Sean McDermott opened up on a special moment between Stefon Diggs and his peers. Ultimately, it could've proved to be the difference-maker in the contest. McDermott said that Diggs had requested to speak to the team before the game, which was the reason the team had so much attitude heading into the matchup.

The Bills head coach wouldn't open up on exactly what Diggs had said, as Dan Fetes reported. We can just imagine there were a few expletives involved that he didn't want to get fined for. Nevertheless, this is the type of player that Diggs is.

Diggs has been thrown into the national spotlight since before the season even began, all stemming from a sideline interaction during the team's playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in which Diggs could be seen shouting at Allen.

From that point, there have been cryptic messages, trade rumors, and overall a general sense of happiness from what was coming out from One Bills Drive about their talented receiver. Time and time again Diggs has opened up to the media, or going to social media, to express his love for Buffalo and his desire to stay on the roster.

Diggs is an ultimate competitor who wants to do whatever he can to will his team to victory. Sometimes, that's going for over 100 yards on the field and scoring a few touchdowns. Other times it's Diggs pumping up the team before the game and getting them in the right headspace for battle.

We love Stefon Diggs and from all accounts, Diggs loves Buffalo.
