Cleveland Browns likely have a Fox analyst thinking twice about what he said pregame.
Before the Browns defeated the San Francisco 49ers 19-17, Fox analyst Jimmy Johnson counted them out after a shoving match broke out between the two teams.
“This is the worst thing that can happen for Cleveland,” said Johnson. “Don't poke the bear (of the 49ers).”
After the two teams got into a bit and tempers flared pregame, Johnson thought there was no way that the Browns would come out and have this result against the 49ers. Granted, not many people did but it looks a lot worse on television.
Cleveland’s defense stifled the 49ers across the board and forced Brock Purdy to have his worst game of his young NFL career with just 12 completions for 127 yards.
“For us it’s just go out there and battle, we’re not going to bow down to nobody,” said P.J. Walker who made his first start with the Browns.
Now, it looks like the 49ers went barking up the wrong tree with the pregame antics and Johnson may end up Freezing Cold Takes.
