The Green Bay Packers will be without two important starters against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football. Running back Aaron Jones and off-ball linebacker De'Vondre Campbell are officially out.

Campbell had already been declared out on Saturday's injury report. Jones news was more surprising, after he practiced on a limited basis throughout the week. He was expected to play until Monday's afternoon, when NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported he wasn't 100% and wouldn't play.

The Packers idea is to rest Jones, taking advantage of the bye week, so the running back could be healthier against the Denver Broncos in week 7.

The other injured player out on Monday is safety and special teamer Zayne Anderson, with a hamstring issue. He hasn't played a single down for the Packers since being claimed off waivers right after the initial roster cuts.

Healthy scratches

To complete the gameday 48-man roster, the Packers had to inactivate three more players. So, the healthy players out are, wide receiver Malik Heath, offensive tackle Caleb Jones, and safety Anthony Johnson Jr.

Stokes still on PUP

Eric Stokes isn't technically on the inactive list, because the third-year cornerback is still on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Therefore, he's not on the 53-man roster. Last week, the Packers opened his 21-day practice window, so he's still on an exemption.

When he's ready, the Packers can activate him at any point in this three-week period. If he's not, Green Bay has to activate him anyway to the main roster, or move him to the injured reserve — in this case, Stokes would be out for the remainder of the season.
