The Las Vegas Raiders' defense started rough in the first half of their game vs. the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. The first three plays of the game were run plays, the last one for a first down, against a Packers team that is just as bad as the Raiders have been in the rushing department.

Then, something clicked. They started playing dominant. Maybe, just maybe, it was Maxx Crosby, who was everywhere. He could not be stopped, and if he did on the immediate pass rush, he found a way to end up on the dog pile after the tackle or rushing Jordan Love out of the pocket.

He even made a bit of history in the first half, too.

According to Raiders PR on Twitter, his two tackles for loss in the first half have some historical significance.

"DE Maxx Crosby now has two TFLs in the game, his 19th career game with 2+ TFLs, the second most in the NFL since 2019 – only behind T.J. Watt (20). Among players in their first five seasons in the NFL, Crosby's 19 games with multiple TFLs are tied with Jared Allen (19) and Trent Cole (19) for the 9th most in the NFL since 1999."

Jared Allen is one of the best we have seen in some time, so that's a great company to be with. Crosby isn't getting to the quarterback, but he is making his presence felt and contributing in other ways, like the run defense.

Hopefully, he keeps it up in the second half.
