The Las Vegas Raiders got by on Monday Night Football, as they just barely won over the Green Bay Packers. However, it's the way they won that surprised everyone. They did it with defense, which is the first time a Raiders' defense has won a game for them in some time.

The Raiders hadn't beaten the Packers in 36 years before that, but one young player's game-sealing play is what everyone was talking about in the locker room. Amik Robertson hasn't had the start to his career he would have hoped, but his teammates all knew he would make the right play when it came down to it.

"He's a gamer. Wants to make the big play. If people don't know, they better put on the film," Marcus Peters said, who also made some plays on Monday Night Football.

The Raiders desperately needed a cornerback to step up, as they were without Nate Hobbs and Jakorian Bennett, two starters who have had some good moments this year. However, the defense kind of played better without them.

Most of that is because of Robertson.

"Amik does it every year," Crosby, the best player on the field, said. "He waits his turn, comes in, and balls out. We have to find a way to get that guy on the field. He is an incredible player and always making plays on the ball."

Robertson, who is in his fourth season and just one game away from being considered a veteran, had two interceptions last season. In college at Lousiana Tech, he was considered a ball hawk.

Crosby lobbying for Robertson to get more playing time says everything you need to know about him as a player the defense respects. He made plays all night, not just the last one. And better yet, his team knew he would come up clutch.

I think, after the way he played against the Packers, he certainly deserves to see the field a bit more.
