The New Orleans Saints will face the New England Patriots in Week 5 on Sunday. Both teams are fresh off of rough losses in Week 4.

New Orleans needs to bounce back from a deflating loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from Week 4. New Orleans needs to show a lot more on both sides of the ball. Last week was unacceptable.

How can you watch Sunday's matchup for the Saints?

  • WHO: New Orleans Saints @ New England Patriots
  • WHEN: Sunday, October 8th at 12 P.M. (CST)
  • WHERE (on TV): CBS
  • Betting Odds: Patriots -0.5, Over/Under 40.5

Three Storylines to Watch

  • Pressure on Pete Carmichael
    • It is no secret that pressure is mounting for the Saints offensive coordinator. The unit is too talented to be struggling so consistently. Dennis Allen stood for his OC this week amid a lot of doubts from fans and frustration from players. He has to make adjustments.
  • Healthier defense?
    • Paulson Adebo and Jordan Howden returned to practice this week. They could return to action against NE. If they do, the Saints secondary has a lot more depth against a struggling Mac Jones-led Patriots offense.
  • Bounce back for Olave
    • Chris Olave must be more involved early and often in the offense this week. He had just one reception in Week 4. Designed touches for Olave need to be at the forefront of Carmichael's mind. Derek Carr has to trust his young, talented WR, too.

This game is a massive one for both teams' outlook on this season. Don't miss it.
