Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore is showing up on the national stage against the Washington Commanders on Thursday night and Bears fans have to love what they're seeing.

The team's top offensive weapon currently sits at 5 receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns through the first two quarters of play. The Bears lead the Commanders 27-3 and are just two quarters away from their first win of the 2023 season.

Moore nearly had his third touchdown of the first-half on a 3rd-and-4 endzone shot with 2:30 remaining in the second quarter. However, Commanders cornerback Benjamin St-Juste was able to break up the pass on a questionable no-call.

Moore has now crossed the 100-yard threshold in three of his first five games in a Bears uniform. Moore is on pace for single game career highs if he keeps it up in the second-half.

Moore's career-high in receiving yards in a game came in Week 11, 2018 where he totaled 157 yards and 1 touchdown against the Detroit Lions.

Quarterback Justin Fields completed 12 for his 20 passes for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns in the first-half against the Commanders.

This is the second consecutive week Fields and Moore combined for big games. Last week against the Broncos, Fields finished with a career high 335 passing yards and four passing touchdowns. Moore hauled in eight receptions for 131 yards and one score.

The Bears started quick against the Broncos last week, entering the half leading 21-7. However, things went off the rails in the second-half leading to the Broncos mounting a massive comeback, winning the game 31-28.

Let's hope that doesn't happen again tonight.
