It hasn't been a full calendar year since the Pittsburgh Steelers traded WR Chase Claypool to the Chicago Bears.
Pittsburgh got back a second-round pick, which turned out to be #32 overall (a first-round pick in most years), and used that selection to take the future of the CB position in Joey Porter Jr.
Well, Claypool is on the move once again, and this time for a lot less:
Now as many of you remember in Pittsburgh, the talent has always been obvious with Claypool. His rookie season made many believe he was going to be the next big thing in Pittsburgh at WR.
But then came the off-the-field troubles. Claypool seemingly loved what the game of football brought him, not the game itself.
That carried over in Chicago, but to a greater degree given his lack of effort that was evident on the coach's tape.
So maybe it was the Bears' fault, and maybe Pittsburgh just wasn't big enough for his personality. The Dolphins offense will certainly be the best situation he's been in.
But generally, when a tiger shows his stripes, you tend to believe him, and Claypool has certainly shown his.
