The rollout of the much-anticipated EA Sports College Football 25 video game is almost here, and there's been plenty released on its rankings and features as time has gone on.
Unsurprisingly, Georgia has multiple of the game's highest rated players as the Bulldogs return potential first-round talent on both sides of the football in 2024.
The team has two players rated within the top 10, as was revealed on Wednesday as EA Sports named Bulldogs free safety Malaki Starks and right guard Tate Ratledge within its best 10 players.
Both Starks and Ratledge earned overall ratings of 95.
Michigan Wolverines cornerback Will Johnson ranked atop the list at No. 1 overall. With this, Georgia is the only team outside of Michigan and Ohio State to have a pair of players in the top 10 of College Football 25. No quarterbacks found a spot in the top 10.
Former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray was the last Georgia football player to be ranked in the top 10 player list when he came in at No. 10 with a 96 overall rating in EA Sports' NCAA Football 14.
Starks and Ratledge weren't the only Bulldogs to have recognition, though, with some six players listed in the video game's top 100.
Those included Carson Beck (93 overall), Mykel Williams (95 overall), Dyland Fairchild (91 overall) and Oscar Delp (90 overall).
Despite this, it's still easy to get the sense that other Bulldogs were snubbed, with a solid case for the likes of Trevor Etienne and Jalon Walker to become future early-round NFL Draft picks.
The deluxe edition of College Football 25 is set to be released on July 16 with the standard version following just days behind on July 19.
