Nashville business could help Tennessee Vols land one of its biggest recruiting targets

The Tennessee Volunteers had some of the biggest names in the 2025 recruiting class in town over the long weekend. Among the visitors was 5-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench. The five-star wideout from Mandarin High in Jacksonville, Florida is a big target for Tennessee and pretty much every school that he's considering.
However, per On3 Sports, there is something that Ffrench is particularly interested in beyond the football field. That would be an NIL deal with a Lamborghini dealer.
After decommitting from Alabama in January, five-star wide receiver Jamie Ffrench has a slew of official visits lined up for June. Texas appears to be in the driver’s seat at the moment.
Ffrench told On3 on Tuesday morning that his dream NIL deal would be to land a Lamborghini. Fittingly, former Texas running back Bijan Robinson signed an endorsement deal with Lamborghini Austin in May 2022. Specifics on the deal were not public, but the Texas running back was allowed to drive a Lamborghini off the lot and the contract was a year long. – Pete Nakos, On3 Sports
Unfortunately, that's not something that is located in Knoxville. However, there is one in the Nashville area – Lamborghini Nashville. So, if he or his representatives are looking for an NIL deal, it would have to be there. That being said, Nashville is UT west, as evidenced by the orange takeover of game Tennessee plays in town. There would certainly be an opportunity to market to scores of Tennessee fans with a UT NIL deal that would make sense for them.
Among Ffrench's other suitors in the Texas Longhorns and Miami Hurricanes, Austin, Texas and Miami have Lamborghini dealerships, and it appears the Longhorns have already forged a relationship between their local Lambo dealership and their players. That obviously gives them a head start in being able to offer something like that to Ffrench. Miami is also a city of luxury and high-end living, something that it appears is of interest to the young wideout.
Such are things in the new world of collegiate athletics, to the chagrin of many. It is what it is, and programs and those close to them will have to find ways to try to get creative with NIL opportunities to secure the services of difference-making players.
We'll see if such an opportunity opens up for Ffrench in the Volunteer state to put the Vols in the driver's seat, or if he ends up peeling wheels off into the sunset of South Florida or Texas.
