The Tennessee Volunteers have some great traditions that have become a staple of football gamedays in Knoxville over the decades.  Perhaps none are greater than "running through the T" when the Vols take the field through the band lined up in a T.

For those hoping that the new EA Sports College Football 25 game set to come out in July includes this Tennessee tradition, it appears you are in luck.

On3 Sports' Andy Staples was able to play the game in advance, and he confirmed that indeed the Vols' running through the T will be included in the game, and in great detail.

"They figured out how every band gets into formation in the middle of the field," Staples said. "134 bands.  They're in exactly the formation they will be in in real life.  So if you are playing as Tennessee, and you are coming out of the tunnel at Neyland Stadium, the band will have parted into the T.  So, you will run through the vertical piece of the T until you get to the 90-degree angle, and then you take a hard left turn, go towards your sideline in the horizontal part of the T."

Well, it's actually a hard right to the sideline, Andy, but yeah, close enough there.  Or at least it should be if the designers did it correctly.

So indeed, Tennessee fans will get the full experience of the greatest entrance in all of college football.  EA Sports has reportedly made it a point to mimic realism as much as possible with this game.  That concept has been repeated by many who have been around the game since its return was announced.

It was also previously revealed that one of the more recent traditions will also be included in the game: the Neyland Stadium crowd will be checkered as well.

For those Tennessee fans hoping to experience a true gameday atmosphere, it sounds like EA Sports is doing a very good job of recreating it.
