Georgia football provides some of the best talent available for the taking in the NFL Draft year in and year out, and 2025 is set to be no different.

One of the biggest names to watch in the first round will be Carson Beck, though he's not the only Georgia prospect projected to fly off the board early.

When Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports released his latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft, he had Beck at first overall, but he had UGA defensive back Malaki Starks not too far behind him. With the 15th selection, Trapasso sent Starks to the Chicago Bears.

That put him one pick after Michigan defensive lineman Kenneth Grant at No. 14 overall to the Indianapolis Colts and just ahead of Texas offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr., who was pinned to the Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 16.

"Another polished safety in Chicago who'll pair nicely with Jaquan Brisker," Trapasso wrote.

Starks finished out the 2023 season with 52 combined tackles (31 solo), 7 passes defended and 3 interceptions, following up on a successful 2022 season in which he recorded 69 combined tackles (45 solo), with 7 passes defended and 2 interceptions.

Trapasso also had several other Georgia players listed as first-round picks in the mock, including linebacker Smael Mondon Jr. (No. 26, Houston Texans) and defensive linemen Mykel Williams (No. 27, Cincinnati Bengals) and Nazir Stackhouse (No. 31, Kansas City Chiefs).

With the very real potential to have more players taken in the first 32 selections than any other college football team in 2025, the Bulldogs are primed for yet another big run.
