The New York Giants are hoping that Jalin Hyatt can make a big step forward in 2024 in his second season. On Friday, the former Tennessee Vols standout flashed the hands that gives Giants fans hope that he can become a bigger part of the offense in 2024.

Hyatt skied for a ball from quarterback Tommy DeVito in the corner of the end zone during OTAs, and he made a ridiculous one-handed grab before getting his feet down.

The 2022 Biletnikoff winner's grab, and jersey number, harken back to one of the most unforgettable catches in the NFL in recent memory by then-rookie and former Giants standout Odell Beckham, Jr. in 2014.

However, clearly, Hyatt has worlds to go to fill OBJ's shoes in the Big Apple.  Hyatt's usage was sparse during his rookie season, as he totaled 23 catches on 40 targets for 373 yards in 557 total snaps last season with the Giants.

Part of that had to do with the utter mess New York's offense was, with starter Daniel Jones missing much of the season with injury and the Giants' decimated offensive line being unable to protect long enough for their deep passing game to fully play out, where Hyatt typically shines.

However, the Giants should be significantly improved in 2024, with Jones back under center and WR Malik Nabers coming on board.  We'll see if Hyatt can prove to his coaches that he deserves to be a bigger part of that offense before the season starts.

Friday certainly didn't hurt his case.
