Few teams in college football have the ability to reload on the recruiting trail quite like the Georgia Bulldogs, and that's well-reflected year in and year out by the level of talent on the roster.
Things are no different in 2023 as the Bulldogs have multiple projected first-round 2025 NFL Draft prospects with quarterback Carson Beck serving as the headliner. Beck is considered by many analysts to be the best available prospect ahead of April, and by even more as the best quarterback set to head for the NFL.
But it goes deeper than just Beck. He himself is a testament to the type of depth the Bulldogs have had at the position over the years as he waited his turn behind JT Daniels and Stetson Bennett, who he watched win national titles for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs once again have a heralded overall quarterback room in 2024, which was the reason PFF analyst Max Chadwick named the room the best in college football when he released his rankings.
He had Georgia on top, followed directly by Oregon, Texas, Ohio State, Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida, Penn State and Missouri.
Beck more than just proved his worth in his first year on the scene as the starter, finishing out the season with over a 72% completion rate while passing for 3,941 yards with a 24-to-6 touchdown-to-interception ratio. He also showcased his mobility and improvisation ability, rushing for for 116 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Beck is also joined in the room by the likes of Gunner Stockton, Ryan Puglisi, Collin Drake, Sam Bush and Jaden Rashada, who is set to inherit the throne after Beck is gone.
With the only quarterbacks expected to rival Beck for the top spot being Colorado's Shedeur Sanders and Texas' Quinn Ewers, it will be interesting to see how things ultimately shake out.
