During Friday night's Women's March Madness Final Four games, the Kansas City Chiefs have made it clear who they will be rooting for.

And they are just returning the favor to one of the star's who has been  a Chiefs fan since she was younger.

On Friday, ahead of the women's March Madness Final Four games, the Chiefs posted a photo of a young Caitlin Clark in a Chiefs jersey.

"You cheered for us. Now it's our turn! All of Chiefs Kingdom is rooting for you tonight, @CaitlinClark22 🏀," they wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Clark has been a menace during her collegiate career, breaking numerous records. And for the second straight year, she has led Iowa to the Final Four. While they made it all the way to the championship game last season, Clark and Iowa lost to LSU.

But this year in the Elite Eight, they sent LSU home. So they are looking to claim that big victory. Right now, it's UConn who stands in their way.

However, with the Chiefs cheering her on, it might be the perfect motivation. Especially considering the success they had this past season.

Despite having grown up in Iowa, Clark's entire family were Chiefs fans so naturally she jumped right in. This past season, she even took in a game at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas Day, just sitting a few suites down from Taylor Swift. Unfortunately, Clark admitted that the two did not get to meet at the game.

But just getting to see her favorite team was enough.

"That’s what I really looked forward to most on Sundays,” Clark told The Kansas City Star. "Like every Sunday that’s what (is) usually the brightest part of my day is turning on the TV and watching the Chiefs."

And while she's a fan of the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes also proved himself to be a big fan of hers.

“She is just a tremendous player and tremendous person,” Mahomes said. “I’ve met with her and talked. You can tell she loves the game.

“She loves playing at Iowa and is going to be one of the best women’s basketball, one of the best college basketball players to ever play, and then go to the WNBA and dominate there as well.”

So along with the rest of the world, Mahomes and the Chiefs will certainly be tuned in on Friday night.

UConn vs. Iowa tips off at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
