My newest and largest big board of the year is out now. I shared my top 200 players in the 2024 NFL Draft, and now I'll release my positional rankings for each.
One of this draft class' deepest positions is offensive tackle. The class is expected to have a large number drafted during round one, and day two will be heavy on tackle picks as well.
Below are my top 20 offensive tackles in the 2024 NFL Draft draft, all of which landed on my top 200 big board.
2024 NFL Draft OT Rankings
1. Joe Alt, Notre Dame
2. Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State

Oregon State's Taliese Fuaga began his draft process with a dominant week at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. In my opinion, he had the best week of any offensive tackle in attendance, and his direct matchups in practice agreed, as the DL and LBs on his team voted him the top player on the National team. Fuaga has a large frame, standing at 6'5" and weighing 324 Lbs at the 2024 Scouting Combine. More importantly, he knows how to use his body to his benefit against defenders. He started at RT for Oregon State over the last two seasons, but some in the NFL Draft world believe he needs to move to guard, a position he didn't play a single snap at in college but did spend time at in high school.
I do understand the thought process there, though, because there will be teams that see how strong Fuaga is and his average arm length at 33' and think he would be better at guard at the pro level. He is one of a few players that I actually have listed at both positions on my personal board due to his position at the next level being dependent on the team he lands with. If he plays tackle, I think he has the ability to play either side but will likely have some growing pains at LT, so if you want him to hit the ground running as a pro, I'd keep him on the right side. In conclusion, if a team is in need of a day-one starting tackle, I think Fuaga has to be taken into consideration, and if you need a player to raise the floor of your run game, he is at the top of my list.
3. Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Penn State
4. Troy Fautanu, Washington
5. JC Latham, Alabama
6. Amarius Mims, Georgia
7. Kingsley Suamataia, BYU
8. Graham Barton, Duke
9. Jordan Morgan, Arizona
10. Kiran Amegadjie, Yale
11. Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma
12. Dominick Puni, Kansas
13. Sataoa Laumea, Utah
14. Matt Goncalves, Pittsburgh
15. Patrick Paul, Houston

Another offensive tackle who was at the Senior Bowl this year was Houston OT Patrick Paul. Paul didn't have as consistent of a week as Fuaga, but his flashes had to turn some NFL scouts heads who were in attendance. I said Fuaga had a large frame earlier, but Paul clears him at 6'7", 331 LBs, and a ridiculous 36.25" arm length. Even with his large frame, Paul was still able to run a solid 5.13 40-yard dash. Paul's long build helps him make contact with even the most elusive defenders at a high rate off the snap. He does tend to get too handsy at times, leading to penalties.
At the NFL level, there is a chance that whoever drafts him wants to get that element under control before throwing him into their starting lineup. He is projected to be drafted on day two of the NFL Draft. While I think he is talented enough to be selected in the 2nd round, I think his tendency to hold defenders is going to take some time to coach out of him. This would prevent me from taking him before the 3rd round, and ideally, he lands in a spot with an aging veteran tackle that he can sit behind for a year while an NFL coaching staff can polish his game. Paul projects as an LT after starting all 44 of his games at Houston during his five years at the university at LT.
16. Roger Rosengarten, Washington
17. Blake Fisher, Notre Dame
18. Christian Jones, Texas
19. Javon Foster, Missouri
20. Walter Rouse, Oklahoma
