The Philadelphia Eagles made their Haason Reddick trade to the New York Jets official on Monday.

The Eagles sent Reddick to the Jets and in return, they received a conditional 2026 third-round pick.

On Tuesday, Reddick wrote his farewell, thanking Eagles fans for their unmatched "love for the game."

Philadelphia, saying 'Thank You' is not enough to express my gratitude for the love and support you showed me during my time as an Eagle. Bird Gang, it was an honor to play for you, your love for the game and your city is a feat to behold

To my teammates, brothers forever. New challenges and teams will never sever the bond of friendship made on and off the field.

To the Eagles organization, thank you for the opportunity to play in my home city. This was a dream for any kid growing up in Camden.

To my family, you are the backbone of my life. Without you, I would have never been able to achieve my dreams.

New York and #GangGreen, I'm excited for the next step in this journey. I cannot wait to get to work! – Haason Reddick via X/Twitter

Reddick, 29, originally joined the Eagles in 2022 after signing a three-year, $45 million deal.

He was nothing short of a reliable pass rusher for the Birds and leaves Philly after compiling 27 sacks, 49 QB hits and 24 tackles for loss in two seasons.

With Reddick out of the picture, the Eagles will rely on newly signed edge and former Jet, Bryce Huff, veterans Josh Sweat and Brandon Graham, and 2023 first-round draft pick Nolan Smith.
