The Oklahoma Sooners' 2024 recruiting class was more than impressive, especially when you factor in some of the defensive line acquisitions. They are sure to be a team that is solid up front. But with that comes the difficult task of trying to build up a big 2025 class.

So far, they are headed in the right direction. Oklahoma has already added players like players like Ka'Mori Moore and Alexander Shieldknight to their 2025 class, and now can add another impressive name to the list.

Recently, the Oklahoma Sooners snagged Trent Wilson, a four-star defensive lineman, as he committed to the Sooners over schools like Penn State and Ohio State. He is from the Maryland area, so grabbing him over those schools is kind of a big deal.

The top 95 recruit, per On3, chose the Sooners over Ohio State, Texas A&M, and Penn State, as the Sooners made a late push for him with Penn State being the school that many thought he would choose.

"I want to thank God for this opportunity, without him I wouldn't be in this position today. BOOMER!"

Wilson is the 13th member of Oklahoma's 2025 recruiting class, and the Sooners' third defensive lineman, along with the two mentioned earlier. The Sooners are loading up on their 2025 class, as it is already showing to have some potential. Wilson could have an immediate impact as a freshman with his 6'3", 270-pound frame.

Once he gets into college, gets in that weight program, and gets under Brent Venables, he could be a force.
