So it's no surprise he jumped at an opportunity to celebrate Bryson DeChambeau's U.S. Open win with the man himself.
DeChambeau, who edged out Rory McIlroy by one stroke in a thrilling conclusion at Pinehurst, N.C., last Sunday, is in Nashville for this week's LIV Golf event at The Grove.
That tournament just happened to coincide with Kittle being in town for Tight End University, the tight end summit put together by the San Francisco 49ers star along with Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen.
Anybody who pays even a passing interest to both gold and football could make the observation that DeChambeau and Kittle share similarly exuberant personalities.
And Kittle was quick to embrace the chance to share a beer with the now two-time major champion, naturally doing so out of the 18-inch championship trophy.
If it was a competition between the two, Kittle was the obvious victor, the All-Pro confidently finishing off the drink after DeChambeau had clearly had enough.
There's no way to drink out of the Vince Lombardi Trophy, but Kittle will be hoping he can finally get his hands on that piece of silverware next February and get the chance to drink in some long overdue 49ers Super Bowl celebrations.
