The Green Bay Packers are an interesting experiment for fantasy analysts and fans. The offense has so many options, but there isn't a clear primary option. That's presumably good for the team, and that's how they want to operate as a unit, but for fantasy purposes it creates obvious challenges to define who will be more productive.

Nonetheless, Green Bay was still the sixth best offense in football by DVOA in 2023. Projecting a realistic growth for a young offense in 2024, there will be room for some players to be impactful fantasy pieces in the upcoming season.

Let's discuss three options that could be excellent values based on their fantasy rankings — according to FantasyPros.

Josh Jacobs (RB13)

Jacobs was the third running back in PPR points in 2022, but fell all the way to 28th last season. It's fair to bet against what the Las Vegas Raiders coaching staff did last year, though, and expect that Matt LaFleur will be able to take the most out of him.

As a receiving option, Jacobs was absurdly underutilized on the Raiders — it's wild that he hasn't had an NFL receiving touchdown. But he still was able to get 144 catches over the last three seasons.

Without Aaron Jones, Jacobs will be a clear RB1, especially until third-round rookie MarShawn Lloyd establishes himself in the league. The Packers are a run-centric — and relatively run-heavy offense for NFL standards, so volume is another positive for Jacobs.

Luke Musgrave (TE17)

Tight end tends to be a volative position on a game-to-game basis, and it's a position that heavily relies on touchdowns to score. But Luke Musgrave had impressive volume and production as a rookie, until he got hurt with a lacerated kidney.

He opens tier 4, as the 17th most valuable tight end, but he can be much more effective than that. The Packers also have Tucker Kraft, which devalues both for fantasy purposes, but Kraft is more of a blocker, while Musgrave is still the option with the highest ceiling as a receiver.

It's rare for rookie tight ends to make an impact, and a smart bet for fantasy players is to take undervalued second-year players. This time around, Musgrave is a name to watch with that strategy.

Dontayvion Wicks (WR70)

The wide receiver position is certainly the most difficult to figure out on the Packers, because any of the four top receivers can be the most productive. But look at their rankings and you will understand the value. Jayden Reed is WR36, Christian Watson is WR44, and Romeo Doubs is WR54.

Wicks is the WR70, so the investment is excellent. He starts the season as the fourth option, but the route running ability and the capacity to separate from defenders make him a valuable player for an offense based on respecting reads.

Jordan Love had a 117.6 passer rating when targeting Wicks, so going into year 2 the young receiver has a chance to be even more productive.
