The Elite 11 has meant something to Ohio State football for quite some time now when it comes to the quarterback position.

2025 commit Tavien St. Clair has punched his ticket to the Elite 11 Finals like many past and current Buckeyes have.

St. Clair joins Julain Sayin, Devin Brown, and Air Noland as Elite 11 current quarterbacks on the roster. It was Sayin who joined Justin Fields and C.J. Stroud as Buckeyes who were named an Elite 11 MVP. Now, St. Clair is going to have a chance at least to do the same.

So far seven out of 20 quarterbacks have been invited to the finals. St. Clair is joining Texas commit K.J. Lacey, SMU commit Keelon Russell, Oklahoma commit Kevin Sperry, Notre Dame commit Deuce Knight Texas A&M commit Husan Longstreet, and Florida State commit Tramell Jones.

As a junior at Bellefontaine (Ohio), the Buckeye commit completed north of 70 percent of his passes with a school-record 3,083 yards and a school-record 37 touchdowns. He is set up for a big senior season before early enrolling at Ohio State in January.

As it currently stands, St. Clair is set to join an Ohio State quarterback room that consists of Devin Brown, Lincoln Kienholz, Sayin, and Noland. Grad transfer Will Howard will be out of eligibility.

Currently ranked the No. 2 quarterback, according to 247 Sports, St. Clair will be given a chance to prove he is the top quarterback in the senior class when it is all said and done.
