Players selected in this part of the draft very rarely turn into starters, but making the team by being productive in training camp and the preseason is entirely possible.
What is there to be known about these final draftees? Here is one fun fact about all four players.
Sixth round, 194th overall: Tanner McLachlan, TE, Arizona
Fun fact: McLachlan is the second-oldest player to be drafted this year. He turned 25 years old on March 15. He played four years at Southern Utah before transferring to Arizona. He's one of six Bengals draft picks to have transferred in college.
Sixth round, 214th overall: Cedric Johnson, ED, Ole Miss
Fun fact: Johnson was the winner of Ole Miss' Chucky Mullins Courage Award in 2023, which is given to the defensive player for embodying courage, determination, leadership, and perseverance. He won this won as a 21-year old as well.
Seventh round, 224th overall: Daijahn Anthony, S, Ole Miss
Fun fact: Ole Miss was Anthony's third school in college. He started at Shepard as a walk-on and played one season after redshirting. He transferred in 2020 after the season was cancelled due to COVID-19 and ended up at Liberty as a preferred walk-on. After only starting four games in two years, he finally ended up in the SEC as a full-time starter.
Seventh round, 237th overall: Matt Lee, C, Miami
Fun fact: In high school, Lee had a 3.9 GPA and a SAT score of 1350. Ivy League schools had interest in him, but the Florida native stayed in-state to go to UCF. Lee transferred to Miami for the 2023 season.
