The 2024 NFL Draft has concluded, and we now know all 32 teams' 2024 draft classes.
We saw six QBs come off the board in the top 12, and the first defender wasn't taken until pick 15.
After taking the weekend to really study each draft class, below are my grades for how all 32 teams did in the NFL Draft.
2024 NFL Draft Class Grades:
AFC North:
Baltimore Ravens
- Rd 1, Pick 30: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
- Rd 2, Pick 62: Roger Rosengarten, OT, Washington
- Rd 3, Pick 93: Adisa Isaac, Edge, Penn State
- Rd 4, Pick 113: Devontez Walker, WR, North Carolina
- Rd 4, Pick 130: T.J. Tampa, CB, Iowa State
- Rd 5, Pick 165: Rasheen Ali, RB, Marshall
- Rd 6, Pick 218: Devin Leary, QB, Kentucky
- Rd 7, Pick 228: Nick Samac, C, Michigan State
- Rd 7, Pick 250: Sanoussi Kane, S, Purdue
Favorite Pick: Devontez Walker
I would have liked to see the Ravens use an earlier pick on a WR, but their patience paid off with Walker falling to them in the 4th round. Walker's size and speed on the outside will only help second-year WR Zay Flowers and the Ravens' offense take a step forward.
Least Favorite Pick: Devin Leary
You know it's a really solid draft when my biggest gripe is a 6th round QB. I personally don't see a realistic path for Leary to even end up a primary backup QB in the NFL, so I would have liked to see Baltimore go in a different direction here.
Grade: B+
Cincinnati Bengals
- Rd 1, Pick 18: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
- Rd 2, Pick 49: Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan
- Rd 3, Pick 80: Jermaine Burton, WR, Alabama
- Rd 3, Pick 97: McKinnley Jackson, DT, Texas A&M
- Rd 4, Pick 115: Erick All, TE, Iowa
- Rd 5, Pick 149: Josh Newton, CB, TCU
- Rd 6, Pick 194: Tanner McLachlan, TE, Arizona
- Rd 6, Pick 214: Cedric Johnson, Edge, Ole Miss
- Rd 7, Pick 224: Daijahn Anthony, S, Ole Miss
- Rd 7, Pick 237: Matt Lee, C, Miami
Favorite Pick: Jermaine Burton
If Burton didn't have character concerns, he likely would have heard his name called in the 1st or 2nd round. His talent is undeniable, and he lands in a great spot for him to develop as a player. But his career arc is heavily dependent on him being able to leave his poor actions in the past.
Least Favorite Pick: McKinnley Jackson
After killing their first three picks, the Bengals reached out in a big way for Jackson. With them landing Jenkins in the second round, it wasn't even a position that they needed to reach on. There was still a lot of talent left on the board here for them to consider. And if they don't reach out to Jackson here, this probably ends up being an A-level draft for me.
Grade: B+
Cleveland Browns
- Rd 2, Pick 54: Mike Hall Jr., DT, Ohio State
- Rd 3, Pick 85: Zak Zinter, G, Michigan
- Rd 5, Pick 156: Jamari Thrash, WR, Louisville
- Rd 6, Pick 206: Nathaniel Watson, LB, Mississippi State
- Rd 7, Pick 227: Myles Harden, CB, South Dakota
- Rd 7, Pick 243: Jowon Briggs, DT, Cincinnati
Favorite Pick: Mike Hall Jr.
Hall has a diverse skill set that allows him to impact both the run and pass game. And without a first-round pick, they needed this pick to be able to make an immediate impact at a position of need.
Least Favorite Pick: Zak Zinter
Zinter had a solid college career, but his recent injury and lack of a true dominant trait to me projects him more as a depth lineman and less as a starter in the NFL. Which would be fine if the Browns weren't using a day two pick on him.
Grade: C+
Pittsburgh Steelers
- Rd 1, Pick 20: Troy Fautanu, OT, Washington
- Rd 2, Pick 51: Zach Frazier, C, West Virginia
- Rd 3, Pick 84: Roman Wilson, WR, Michigan
- Rd 3, Pick 98: Payton Wilson, LB, N.C. State
- Rd 4, Pick 119: Mason Mccormick, G, South Dakota State
- Rd 6, Pick 178: Logan Lee, DT, Iowa
- Rd 6, Pick 195: Ryan Watts, CB, Texas
Favorite Pick: Payton Wilson
In my opinion, the Steelers' landing Payton Wilson in the third round was the single best value of any pick made in the entire 2024 NFL Draft. Wilson's elite speed and coverage ability will help him play early in his career. And if he can stay healthy, the Steelers' LB duo of Wilson and Patrick Queen could be deadly.
Least Favorite Pick: Logan Lee
It's hard to find a pick I didn't like for the Steelers, but the pick I think has the least chance of playing for them anytime soon is Logan Lee in the 6th round. But even with this pick, I see the upside in this: Omar Khan and his team killed this draft.
Grade: A
AFC South:
Houston Texans
- Rd 2, Pick 42: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georiga
- Rd 2, Pick 59: Blake Fisher, OT, Notre Dame
- Rd 3, Pick 78: Calen Bullock, S, USC
- Rd 4, Pick 123: Cade Stover, TE, Ohio State
- Rd 6, Pick 188: Jamal Hill, LB, Oregon
- Rd 6, Pick 205: Jawhar Jordan, RB, Louisville
- Rd 7, Pick 238: Solomon Byrd, Edge, USC
- Rd 7, Pick 247: Marcus Harris, DT, Auburn
- Rd 7, Pick 249: Ladarius Henderson, G, Michigan
Favorite Pick: Calen Bullock
Some may be shocked to see Bullock as my favorite pick, but his elite coverage ability will translate to the NFL. While they work on his tackling issues, I could see him spending time at CB. This is the only player in the Texans class who could play early snaps and do so at a high level.
Least Favorite Pick: Kamari Lassiter
The Texans needed a day-one contributor on the outside at CB and instead drafted Lassiter, who I think is definitely a slot player due to his speed issues. And I also think he's farther away from being a starter than people realize even in the slot, he may be a better fit at safety early in his career.
Grade: C
Indianapolis Colts
- Rd 1, Pick 15: Laiatu Latu, Edge, UCLA
- Rd 2, Pick 52: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
- Rd 3, Pick 79: Matt Goncalves, OT/G, Pittsburgh
- Rd 4, Pick 117: Tanor Bortolini, C/G, Wisconsin
- Rd 5, Pick 142: Anthony Gould, WR, Oregon State
- Rd 5, Pick 151: Jaylon Carlies, LB/S, Missouri
- Rd 5, Pick 164: Jaylin Simpson, S, Auburn
- Rd 6, Pick 201: Micah Abraham, CB, Marshall
- Rd 7, Pick 234: Jonah Laulu, DT, Oklahoma
Favorite Pick: Adonai Mitchell
The Colts bypassed WR in round one and still landed a first round talent in Texas WR Adonai Mitchell. Mitchell's speed and size is a perfect complement to Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs to complete the Colts WR room. And if the Colts can help him be more consistent as a WR he could end up being one of the biggest steals in the draft.
Least Favorite Pick: Jaylon Carlies
The Colts are taking some risk with Carlies, who played CB and S at Missouri, as they are converting him to LB right away. I think his skill set projects best at LB anyway, but if he isn't able to pick up the position quickly, he could end up being a 5th-round pick that doesn't even make their 53-man roster.
Grade: B+
Jacksonville Jaguars
- Rd 1, Pick 23: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
- Rd 2, Pick 48: Maason Smith, DT, LSU
- Rd 3, Pick 96: Jarrian Jones, CB, Florida State
- Rd 4, Pick 114: Javon Foster, OT, Missouri
- Rd 4, Pick 116: Jordan Jefferson, DT, LSU
- Rd 5, Pick 153: Deantre Prince, CB, Ole Miss
- Rd 5, Pick 167: Keilan Robinson, RB, Texas
- Rd 6, Pick 212: Cam Little, K, Arkansas
- Rd 7, Pick 236: Myles Cole, Edge, Texas Tech
Favorite Pick: Brian Thomas Jr.
I would have loved Thomas Jr.'s fit with the Jaguars if they took him at 17, so the fact that they were able to trade back to 23 and still land him was gold for their first-round pick.
Least Favorite Pick: Maason Smith
After a strong start, the Jaguars decided to reach big on DT Maason Smith. He has some upside, but I don't see a world where he will be able to produce anything on defense early in his career. And that's a lot of risk for a team to take in the 2nd round.
Grade: C+
Tennessee Titans
- Rd 1, Pick 7: JC Latham, OT, Alabama
- Rd 2, Pick 38: T'Vondre Sweat, DT, Texas
- Rd 4, Pick 106: Cedric Gray, LB, North Carolina
- Rd 5, Pick 146: Jarvis Brownlee Jr., CB, Louisville
- Rd 6, Pick 182: Jha'Quan Jackson, WR, Tulane
- Rd 7, Pick 242: James Williams, LB/S, Miami
- Rd 7, Pick 252: Jaylen Harrell, Edge, Michigan
Favorite Pick: Jarvis Brownlee Jr.
Brownlee Jr. was one of the best CBs at this year's Senior Bowl. He projects best in the slot, and that's probably where he will play early in his career, but I think he offers more upside as an outside CB than people think.
Least Favorite Pick: T'Vondre Sweat
Texas DT T'Vondre Sweats is one of the best NTs in this year's draft, but his off-the-field issues are worrisome, to say the least. Sweat was accused of being a heavy partier in Texas, and the recent DUI showed that those issues aren't yet in his past.
Grade: C-
AFC East:
Buffalo Bills
- Rd 2, Pick 33: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
- Rd 2, Pick 60: Cole Bishop, S, Utah
- Rd 3, Pick 95: DeWayne Carter, DT, Duke
- Rd 4, Pick 128: Ray Davis, RB, Kentucky
- Rd 5, Pick 141: Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, C, Georiga
- Rd 5, Pick 160: Edefuan Ulogoshio, LB, Washington
- Rd 5, Pick 168: Javon Solomon, Edge, Troy
- Rd 6, Pick 204: Tylan Grable, OT, UCF
- Rd 7, Pick 219: Daequan Hardy, CB, Penn State
- Rd 7, Pick 221: Travis Clayton, England, OT/G
Favorite Pick: DeWayne Carter
Carter ended up being graded as a top 75 player for me in this class. I think he is one of the most underrated DT's in this years draft. His upside as a pass rusher is through the roof and I think he's going to make a big impact for Buffalo early.
Least Favorite Pick: Cole Bishop
I like Bishop and think his ability to play both safety spots is valuable, but seeing him go in the 2nd round was too rich for me. He's still pretty raw overall and likely needs to sit for a bit before he can produce at the NFL level.
Grade: B
Miami Dolphins
- Rd 1, Pick 21: Chop Robinson, Edge, Penn State
- Rd 2, Pick 55: Patrick Paul, OT, Houston
- Rd 4, Pick 120: Jaylen Wright, RB, Tennessee
- Rd 5, Pick 158: Mohamed Kamara, Edge, Colorado State
- Rd 6, Pick 184: Malik Washington, WR, Virginia
- Rd 6, Pick 198: Patrick McMorris, S, California
- Rd 7, Pick 241: Tahj Washington, WR, USC
Favorite Pick: Mohamed Kamara
Kamara was one of the best pass rushers in college football last year, and I think his game will translate nicely to the NFL. His ability to use his smaller size to his advantage led to him winning a lot of reps at Colorado State. And with the injuries in the edge room I wont be shocked if he has a early role in Miami.
Least Favorite Pick: Chop Robinson
Robinson's ceiling is certainly higher than Kamara's but I think there's a solid argument to be made that Kamara is the current better edge rusher. Robinson relies solely on his speed as a rusher at the moment, and that's not going to cut it against NFL tackles. Dont be shocked if Kamara gets more snaps early in both rookies' careers.
Grade: B
New England Patriots
- Rd 1, Pick 3: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
- Rd 2, Pick 37: Ja'Lynn Polk, WR, Washington
- Rd 3, Pick 68: Caedan Wallace, OT, Penn State
- Rd 4, Pick 103: Layden Robinson, G, Texas A&M
- Rd 4, Pick 110: Javon Baker, WR, UCF
- Rd 6, Pick 180: Marcellas Dial, CB, South Carolina
- Rd 6, Pick 193: Joe Milton III, QB, Tennessee
- Rd 7, Pick 231: Jaheim Bell, TE, Florida State
Favorite Pick: Drake Maye
I still have no idea how Maye ended up being the third QB taken. I had Maye and Williams as the only two tier 1 QBs in this year's class, and the Patriots landing him without moving up is a massive win and will help get their rebuild moving in the right direction.
Least Favorite Pick: Layden Robinson
After three solid picks by the Patriots, they reached on Robinson in the 4th round, a player I didn't see being selected until the 6th.
Grade: B+
New York Jets
- Rd 1, Pick 11: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
- Rd 3, Pick 65: Malachi Corley, Western Kentucky
- Rd 4, Pick 134: Braelon Allen, RB, Wisconsin
- Rd 5, Pick 171: Jordan Travis, QB, Florida State
- Rd 5, Pick 173: Isaiah Davis, RB, South Dakota State
- Rd 5, Pick 176: Qwan'Tez Stiggers, CFL, CB
- Rd 7, Pick 257: Jaylen Key, S, Alabama
Favorite Pick: Malachi Corley
The Jets are a solid landing spot for Corely, who will get to compete for a starting WR spot early. And after they didn't land a weapon in the first round, they landed a high-upside WR in the third round.
Least Favorite Pick: Isaiah Davis
I like Davis the player, but I don't see why the Jets felt the need to add a second RB with Breece Hall already as their starter and use a fourth-round pick on Braelon Allen, who I think is better than people realize.
Grade: B-
AFC West:
Denver Broncos
- Rd 1, Pick 12: Bo Nix, QB, Oregon
- Rd 3, Pick 76: Jonah Elliss, Edge, Utah
- Rd 4, Pick 102: Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon
- Rd 5, Pick 145: Kris Abrams-Draine, CB, Missouri
- Rd 5, Pick 147: Audric Estimé, RB, Notre Dame
- Rd 7, Pick 235: DeVaughn Vele, WR, Utah
- Rd 7, Pick 256: Nick Gariulo, C, South Carolina
Favorite Pick: Troy Franklin
Why in the world the Broncos allowed a talent like Franklin to reach the 4th round is beyond me. But him being able to land with his college QB in Bo Nix with the Broncos should help both begin their NFL career
Least Favorite Pick: Bo Nix
Personally, I only had a first-round grade on three QBs in this class: Williams, Maye, and Daniels. Due to the upside, I understand why McCarthy would be drafted earlier than I had him ranked, but with Nix, I just don't see it. He's a high-floor QB with a clear ceiling that still keeps the Broncos with the 3rd best QB in their division at best.
Grade: B-
Kansas City Chiefs
- Rd 1, Pick 28: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas
- Rd 2, Pick 63: Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
- Rd 4, Pick 131: Jared Wiley, TE, TCU
- Rd 4, Pick 133: Jaden Hicks, S, Washington State
- Rd 5, Pick 159: Hunter Nourzad, C, Penn State
- Rd 6, Pick 211: Kamal Hadden, CB, Tennessee
- Rd 7, Pick 248: C.J. Hanson, G, Holy Cross
Favorite Pick: Jaden Hicks
The Chiefs got solid value throughout their class, but none better than landing my top S in this year's class in the fourth round. Hicks has the ability to play both S spots and has a high ceiling if a coach can help polish his game. And he lands in the perfect spot to do just that.
Least Favorite Pick: Kamal Hadden
It was hard to pick someone here because I really like the Chiefs class. But if I had to pick one player who I don't see ever becoming a contributor outside of special teams, it would be Hadden.
Grade: A-
Las Vegas Raiders
- Rd 1, Pick 13: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
- Rd 2, Pick 44: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon
- Rd 3, Pick 77: Delmar Glaze, OT, Maryland
- Rd 4, Pick 112: Decamerion Richardson, CB, Mississippi State
- Rd 5, Pick 148: Tommy Eichenberg, LB, Ohio State
- Rd 6, Pick 208: Dylan Laube, RB, New Hampshire
- Rd 7, Pick 223: Trey Taylor, S, Air Force
- Rd 7, Pick 229: MJ Devonshire, CB, Pittsburgh
Favorite Pick: Jackson Powers-Johnson
I thought Powers-Johnson was a solid prospect on the interior who can play center or guard. He offers more upside as a center, but if the Raiders choose to play him as a guard early on to get the best five on the field, I'd understand. ANd them landing him in the 2nd allowed them to use their top pick on a luxury pick in Bowers.
Least Favorite Pick: Delmar Glaze
After going BPA for the first two picks, the Raiders reached big on Glaze in the third round. Glaze needs a lot of technical coaching before he can even be relied on as a primary backup, in my opinion.
Grade: B
Los Angeles Chargers
- Rd 1, Pick 5: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
- Rd 2, Pick 32: Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia
- Rd 3, Pick 69: Junior Colson, Michigan
- Rd 4, Pick 105: Justin Eboigbe, DT, Alabama
- Rd 5, Pick 137: Tarheeb Still, CB, Maryland
- Rd 5, Pick 140: Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame
- Rd 6, Pick 181: Kimani Vidal, RB, Troy
- Rd 7, Pick 225: Brenden Rice, WR, USC
- Rd 7, Pick 253: Cornelius Johnson, WR, Michigan
Favorite Pick: Junior Colson
Colson is going to be a day-one starter for the Chargers and was one of the top options to follow Jim Harbaugh from Michigan to the Chargers.
Least Favorite Pick: Justin Egoigbe
I like the player here, but this is, honestly, the only pick that I felt like the Chargers reached in terms of value. I saw Egoigbe as a 5th round player, and he ended up going in the 4th. It's not a huge jump, but it's their worst value throughout.
Grade: B+
NFC North:
Chicago Bears
- Rd 1, Pick 1: Caleb Williams, QB, USC
- Rd 1, Pick 9: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
- Rd 3, Pick 75: Kiran Amegadjie, OT, Yale
- Rd 4, Pick 122: Tory Taylor, P, Iowa
- Rd 5, Pick 144: Austin Booker, Edge, Kansas
Favorite Pick: Caleb Willams
The Bears couldn't go wrong with this pick as long as they took one of Williams or Maye. And the fact that they got this pick from a trade last year makes it a even bigger win.
Least Favorite Pick: Tory Taylor
Not a lot of picks for the Bears this year, but anytime you take a kicker. or punter in the 4th round its going to be my least favorite.
Grade: A-
Detroit Lions
- Rd 1, Pick 24: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
- Rd 2, Pick 29: Ennis Rakestraw Jr., Missouri
- Rd 4, Pick 126: Giovanni Manu, OT, British Columbia
- Rd 4, Pick 132: Sione Vaki, RB/S, Utah
- Rd 6, Pick 189: Mekhi Wingo, DT, LSU
- Rd 6, Pick 210: Christian Mahogany, G, Boston College
Favorite Pick: Christian Mahogany
I thought the Lions should consider drafting an interior lineman to groom into a future starter with one of their top two picks this year. But their patience paid off because they landed Mahogany in the 6th round, and he's a player I had a third-round grade on. I think he could play in a pinch now and offers the team a solid option as a future starter.
Least Favorite Pick: Giovanni Manu
Manu's story is intriguing and I understand the drawl to him. But trading a future third for such a risky prospect was a wild decision by Brad Holmes and the Lions.
Grade: B
Green Bay Packers
- Rd 1, Pick 25: Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona
- Rd 2, Pick 45: Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M
- Rd 2, Pick 58: Javon Bullard, S, Georiga
- Rd 4, Pick 88: Marshawn Lloyd, RB, USC
- Rd 3, Pick 91: Ty'Ron Hopper, LB, Missouri
- Rd 4, Pick 111: Evan Williams, S, Oregon
- Rd 5, Pick 163: Jacob Monk, C, Duke
- Rd 5, Pick 169: Kitan Oladapo, S, Oregon State
- Rd 6, Pick 202: Travis Glover, OT, Georgia State
- Rd 7, Pick 245: Michael Pratt, QB, Tulane
- Rd 7, Pick 255: Kalen King, CB, Penn State
Favorite Pick: Kitan Oladapo
Oladapo was one of the most underrated prospects in this class in my opinion. I think he will compete for a starting safety job as a rookie and has the ability to play either spot.
Least Favorite Pick: Ty'Ron Hopper
On tape, I didn't see a day two player with Hopper. I personally had a late 5th-round grade on him, and there were multiple players on the board that would have helped the Packers out now as opposed to Hopper, who probably only sees time on special teams early.
Grade: B
Minnesota Vikings
- Rd 1, Pick 10: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
- Rd 1, Pick 17: Dallas Turner, Edge, Alabama
- Rd 4, Pick 108: Khyree Jackson, CB, Oregon
- Rd 6, Pick 177: Walter Rouse, OT, Oklahoma
- Rd 6, Pick 203: Will Reichard, K, Alabama
- Rd 7, Pick 230: Michael Jurgens, C, Wake Forest
- Rd 7, Pick 232: Levi Drake Rodriguez, DT, Texas A&M Commerce
Favorite Pick: Dallas Turner
Turner has the highest ceiling of any defensive player in this year's draft. His elite length and athleticism give him a great foundation. He just now needs a more diverse skill set in terms of pass-rush moves.
Least Favorite Pick: Walter Rouse
Not many picks to choose from here, but I wasn't a huge fan of Rouse's game on tape. I dont think he has much upside as a starter, but could develop into a nice swing tackle.
Grade: B
NFC South:
Atlanta Falcons
- Rd 1, Pick 8: Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington
- Rd 2, Pick 35: Ruke Orhorhoro, DT, Clemson
- Rd 3, Pick 74: Bralen Trice, Edge, Washington
- Rd 4, Pick 109: Brandon Dorlus, DT, Oregon
- Rd 5, Pick 143: JD Bertrand, LB, Notre Dame
- Rd 6, Pick 186: Jase McClellan, RB, Alabama
- Rd 6, Pick 187: Casey Washington, WR, Illinois
- Rd 6, Pick 197: Zion Logue, DT, Georiga
Favorite Pick: Brandon Dorlus
Dorlus is going to be a day one impact pass rusher out of the interior for the Falcons, to land that on day three was their first win of the draft in my opinion.
Least Favorite Pick: Michael Penix Jr.
The Falcons shocked the world when they selected QB Michael Penix Jr. with the 8th pick. I see the upside in Penix Jr.'s game, but this move makes no sense after giving Kirk Cousins the contract the Falcons did. He isn't playing for two years at least, which would make him 26, and if Kirk returns to form, it could be even longer.
Grade: D
Carolina Panthers
- Rd 1, Pick 32: Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina
- Rd 2, Pick 46: Jonathon Brooks, RB, Texas
- Rd 3, Pick 72: Trevin Wallace, LB, Kentucky
- Rd 4, Pick 101: Ja'Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas
- Rd 5, Pick 157: Chau Smith-Wade, CB, Washington State
- Rd 6, Pick 200: Jaden Crumedy, DT, Mississippi State
- Rd 7, Pick 240: Micahel Barrett, LB, Michigan
Favorite Pick: Ja'Tavion Sanders
The Panthers prioritized their offense early in the draft, with three of their first four picks being on that side of the ball. My favorite is their fourth-round pick, Texas TE Sanders. He graded out as my TE 2 in the class and has one of the highest floors of any TE in this year's class. I think he will be a solid security blanket for Bryce Young and the Panthers early in his career.
Least Favorite Pick: Xavier Legette
Legette is an easy player to root for, and I hope he becomes a star in Carolina. But their choice to trade up for him and pass on multiple WRs I had graded higher than him was beyond questionable.
Grade: C
New Orleans Saints
- Rd 1, Pick 14: Taliese Fuaga, G/OT, Oregon State
- Rd 2, Pick 41: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
- Rd 5, Pick 150: Spencer Rattler, QB, South Carolina
- Rd 5, Pick 170: Bub Means, WR, Pittsburgh
- Rd 5, Pick 176: Jaylan Ford, LB, Texas
- Rd 6, Pick 199: Khristian Boyd, DT, Northern Iowa
- Rd 7, Pick 239: Josiah Ezirim, OT, Eastern Kentucky
Favorite Pick: Kool-Aid McKinstry
McKinstry's coverage ability should have led to him being a first-round pick, so the Saints' landing him in round two is a great value. He's a day-one star on their defense and has a higher ceiling than people think.
Least Favorite Pick: Josiah Ezirim
This was another draft that I personally loved, I thought they got great value at just about every pick. If I have to pick one that was the worst value, it would be their 7th-round pick of Josiah Ezirim. But if that's the worst pick of the year, that tells you how well New Orleans did.
Grade: B+
Tama Bay Buccaneers
- Rd 1, Pick 26: Graham Barton, G/C, Duke
- Rd 2, Pick 57: Chris Braswell, Edge, Alabama
- Rd 3, Pick 89: Tykee Smith, S, Georiga
- Rd 3, Pick 92: Jalen McMillan, WR, Washington
- Rd 4, Pick 125: Bucky Irving, RB, Oregon
- Rd 6, Pick 220: Elijah Klein, G, UTEP
- Rd 7, Pick 246: Devin Culp, TE, Washington
Favorite Pick: Jalen McMillan
McMillian is going to be a solid primary backup WR for the Buccaneers early in his career and can play on the outside and in the slot. I think his skill set is perfect for Tampa Bay's offense and forms quite the four-man WR rotation with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Trey Palmer.
Least Favorite Pick: Tykee Smith
I personally wouldn't have taken Tykee Smith till day three, so this pick is only here due to a lack of worse-value picks to include. But if you let him play in the box, his instincts and speed can be real assets in that position.
Grade: B
NFC East:
Dallas Cowboys
- Rd 1, Pick 29: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
- Rd 2, Pick 56: Marshawn Kneeland, Edge, Western Michigan
- Rd 3, Pick 73: Cooper Beebe, G/C, Kansas State
- Rd 3, Pick 87: Marist Liufau, LB, Notre Dame
- Rd 5, Pick 174: Caelen Carson, CB, Wake Forest
- Rd 6, Pick 216: Ryan Flournoy, WR, Southeast Missouri State
- Rd 7, Pick 233: Nathan Thomas, OT, Louisiana-Lafayette
- Rd 7, Pick 244: Justin Rodgers, DT, Auburn
Favorite Pick: Cooper Beebe
Beebe can play guard or center and I think he will be ready to start sometime during his rookie season. I thought a team should take him in the 2nd so the Cowboys landing a player I believe to be a day one starter in the 3rd is great.
Least Favorite Pick: Tyler Guyton
Now in terms of their 1st round pick, I have serious concerns about Guyton's technique and how raw he is in protection still. If the Cowboys start him early I think he will struggle tremendously, and it seems that they are going to just throw him into the fire.
Grade: C+
New York Giants
- Rd 1, Pick 6: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
- Rd 2, Pick 47: Tyler Nubin, S, Minnesota
- Rd 3, Pick 70: Andru Phillips, CB, Kentucky
- Rd 4, Pick 107: Theo Johnson, TE, Penn State
- Rd 5, Pick 166: Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, Purdue
- Rd 6, Pick 183: Darius Muasau, LB, UCLA
Favorite Pick: Theo Johnson
With the rumors about Darren Waller potentially retiring, the Giants needed to leave this draft with a pass catching option at TE. And they landed one with one of the highest ceilings in the class. Johnson has the makeup to be a great pass catcher at TE, and I'm excited to see how early they include him in their offense.
Least Favorite Pick: Tyler Nubin
I really like Nubin and think he is going to be a solid pro, but if the Giants pick him in the 2nd is the worst value, in my opinion. His poor athletic testing is reason for concern but his tape to me showed a player who can play either safety spot at a high level.
Grade: B
Philadephia Eagles
- Rd 1, Pick 22: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
- Rd 2, Pick 40: Cooper DeJean, CB/S, Iowa
- Rd 3, Pick 94: Jalyx Hunt, Edge, Houston Christian
- Rd 4, Pick 127: Will Shipley, RB, Clemson
- Rd 5, Pick 152: Ainias Smith, WR, Texas A&M
- Rd 5, Pick 155: Jeremiah Trotter Jr., LB, Clemson
- Rd 5, Pick 172: Trevor Keegan, G, Michigan
- Rd 6, Pick 185: Johnny Wilson, WR/TE, Florida State
- Rd 6, Pick 190: Dylan McMahon, C, N.C. State
Favorite Pick: Cooper DeJean
I thought DeJean was a perfect fit to the Eagles in the first round. But they chose to take Quinyon Mitchell, which I completely understood. But when they saw him falling into the 2nd they pulled the trigger and moved up and landed them both. Their secondary held them back a lot last season, and they added two day-one starters who both also have high ceilings.
Least Favorite Pick: Jalyx Hunt
I love the upside that comes with Hunt as a pass rusher, but taking him in the 3rd round was the only reach the Eagles had in this year's draft, in my opinion. He's a player who ended up with an early 5th-round grade on my board.
Grade: A-
Washington Commanders
- Rd 1, Pick 2: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
- Rd 2, Pick 36: Jer'Zhan "Johnny" Newton, DT, Illinois
- Rd 2, Pick 50: Mike Sainristil, CB, Michigan
- Rd 2, Pick 53: Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas State
- Rd 3, Pick 67: Brandon Coleman, G, TCU
- Rd 3, Pick 100: Luke McCaffrey, WR, Rice
- Rd 5, Pick 139: Jordan Magee, LB, Temple
- Rd 5, Pick 161: Dominique Hampton, S, Washington
- Rd 7, Pick 222: Javontae Jean-Baptiste, Edge, Notre Dame
Favorite Pick: Jer'Zhan Newton
I'll never understand the NFL letting Newton fall out of round 1, he ended up a top 20 player on my board. I think he is going to be perfect in Dan Quinn's defense and the rest of the NFL will be sorry.
Least Favorite Pick: Jayden Daniels
I loved the Commanders' draft and loved that they kept the 2nd pick and took a QB instead of trading back. Personally, though, I had a significantly higher grade on Maye than Daniels, and I am still very confused about why he was reportedly not in consideration for this pick.
Grade: A-
NFC West:
Arizona Cardinals
- Rd 1, Pick 4: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
- Rd 1, Pick 27: Darius Robinson, DT/Edge, Missouri
- Rd 2, Pick 43: Max Melton, CB, Rutgers
- Rd 3, Pick 66: Trey Benson, RB, Florida State
- Rd 3, Pick 71: Isaiah Adams, G/T, Illinois
- Rd 3, Pick 82: Tip Reiman, TE, Illinois
- Rd 3, Pick 90: Elijah Jones, CB, Boston College
- Rd 4, Pick 104: Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, S, Texas Tech
- Rd 5, Pick 138: Xavier Thomas, Edge, Clemson
- Rd 5, Pick 162: Christian Jones, OT, Texas
- Rd 6, Pick 191: Tejhaun Palmer, WR, UAB
- Rd 7, Pick 226: Jaden Davis, CB/S, Miami
Favorite Pick: Marvin Harrison Jr.
Harrison Jr. was my top overall player in this draft and the Cardinals landed him at pick four without having to trade up. Home run.
Least Favorite Pick: Isaiah Adams
There are not many bad picks to consider in the Cardinals class, but their taking Isaiah Adams in the 3rd round was a massive reach. I think he's strictly a guard at the pro level and he ended up with a early 6th round grade from me.
Grade: A
Los Angeles Rams
- Rd 1, Pick 19: Jared Verse, Edge, Florida State
- Rd 2, Pick 39: Braden Fiske, DT, Florida State
- Rd 3, Pick 83: Blake Corum, RB, Michigan
- Rd 3, Pick 99: Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami
- Rd 5, Pick 154: Brennan Jackson, Edge, Washington State
- Rd 6, Pick 196: Tyler Davis, DT, Clemson
- Rd 6, Pick 209: Joshua Karty, K, Stanford
- Rd 6, Pick 213: Jordan Whittington, WR, Texas
- Rd 6, Pick 217: Beaux Limmer, C, Arkansas
- Rd 7, Pick 254: KT Leveston, G, Kansas State
Favorite Pick: Beaux Limmer
Limmer was one of multiple centers in this class that I think could start day one if a team needed them too. And him falling until the 6th round was beyond puzzling to me.
Least Favorite Pick: Braden Fiske
I like Fiske and think the Rams, especially, were one of the best landing spots for him in this year's draft. But what tanks the value of this selection is the fact that the Rams traded away a future 2nd to move up and take him. I love his upside, but I don't think he's quite ready on day one to produce at a level that warrants that type of trade package.
Grade: B
San Francisco 49ers
- Rd 1, Pick 31: Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida
- Rd 2, Pick 64: Renardo Green, CB, Florida State
- Rd 3, Pick 86: Dominick Puni, G, Kansas
- Rd 4, Pick 124: Malik Mustapha, S, Wake Forest
- Rd 4, Pick 129: Isaac Guerendo, RB, Louisville
- Rd 4, Pick 135: Jacob Cowing, WR, Arizona
- Rd 6, Pick 215: Jarrett Kingston, G, USC
- Rd 7, Pick 251: Tatum Bethune, LB, Florida State
Favorite Pick: Dominick Puni
Puni was one of my favorite offensive linemen this draft cycle. I think he has a bright future in this league at either tackle or guard. He can play early in a pinch if needed, but his upside is his biggest drawl as a prospect. I saw a world where someone took him in the 2nd round, so landing him in the third was perfect value, in my opinion.
Least Favorite Pick: Ricky Pearsall
Look I loved watching Pearsall's tape this draft cycle. He ended up a top 50 player in this class for me and earned a 2nd round grade. But taking him in round one over some of the other WRs available was really shocking to see from the 49ers. But I will say this was probably one of the best landing spots for him in the entire league.
Grade: B
Seattle Seahawks
- Rd 1, Pick 16: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas
- Rd 3, Pick 81: Christian Haynes, G, UConn
- Rd 4, Pick 118: Tyrice Knight, LB, UTEP
- Rd 4, Pick 121: AJ Barner, TE, Michigan
- Rd 5, Pick 136: Nehemiah Pritchett, CB, Auburn
- Rd 6, Pick 179: Sataoa Laumea, G, Utah
- Rd 6, Pick 192: DJ James, CB, Auburn
- Rd 6, Pick 207: Michael Jerrell, OT, Findlay
Favorite Pick: Christian Haynes
Haynes is a day-one starter and could end up being one of the top guards in this entire draft. After the Seahawks bypassed Graham Barton in round one, Haynes became the clear best fit for them in the 2nd. So here they land a dynamic taent in Byron Murphy II in the 1st and Haynes In the 2nd.
Least Favorite Pick: AJ Barner
It felt like there were alot of TEs with more upside to consider here for the Seahawks. I had a 6th round grade on Barner, who I just don't think is dynamic enough to be an above-average pass catcher at the NFL level.
