Xavier Legette knows where he is going – allegedly.
At the standout wide receiver's pro day, the Carolina Panthers showed up in high demand to watch him perform.
That tipped off Legette as to what team wanted to draft him the most.
“That’s just them telling me that they want me on their team,” Legette said to WCNC Charlotte. “A lot of coaches came and hollered at me before and after this process here. They say they got a buzz in their facility for me and I’m just ready to see where I’m going to land.”
Legette hauled in 71 catches for 1,255 yards and seven touchdowns during his final year at the University of South Carolina.
The Panthers aren't desperate for a wide receiver after making a critical offseason trade, but Legette has the talent to make them make a move in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
