Tennessee Vols running back Jaylen Wright is reunited with a former UT football teammate in the latest 2024 NFL mock draft from Pro Football Network.

PFN has the Los Angeles Rams selecting Wright in the fifth round (No. 155 overall) in next month's draft.

The Rams selected former Vols edge rusher Byron Young in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Wright and Young played together at Tennessee in 2021 and 2022.

Young had a terrific rookie season in Los Angeles in 2023, totaling eight sacks while playing a key role for the Rams' defense.

As for Wright, his draft stock has risen over the last few weeks thanks in large part to a strong performance at the combine earlier this month.

Wright ran a 4.38 in the 40-yard dash and he had the best broad jump of any running back at the combine.

The Durham, NC native has also been praised for his pass protection skills, as well as his patience and ability to gain yards after contact.

There's a solid chance that Wright goes higher than the fifth round, It wouldn't be a surprise, in fact, to see him sneak into the third round.
