A Tennessee Vols newcomer received some unfortunate news this week.
According a to report from VolQuest, Vols true freshman cornerback Kaleb Beasley suffered a fractured fibula at practice on Thursday.
Beasley, 6-foot/180 lbs from Nashville, TN, arrived at Tennessee earlier this month after signing with the Volunteers as a four-star recruit.
The talented defensive back was rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 20 cornerback in the nation and the No. 3 player in the state of Tennessee.
According to VolQuest's report, Beasley is expected to be good to go for fall camp, so the news isn't quite as bad as it could've been.
Still, Beasley will miss some important spring reps, which will make it a bit more difficult for the former four-star recruit to find his way onto the field early for the Vols this fall.
