The Denver Broncos have made it clear they are heading in a new direction. They made it clear at the end of the 2023 season, and now, they made it clear on Monday.

According to the Broncos themselves, the player, and the statement the ownership group has made, the Broncos are parting ways and moving on from the Russell Wilson experiment.

Wilson played two seasons in Denver, where his first season was by far his worst, and last year actually wasn't bad. However, the NFL is a business, and that's what the Broncos are doing.

When the news was announced, it seemed as if both Wilson and the Broncos announced it at the same time. Wilson with his statement, and the ownership group with theirs.

Sure, it seems like both sides are grateful for one another based on what was said in their own statements, but let's be honest: both sides are glad this is over.
