The Las Vegas Raiders are about to be featured in an upcoming show, and it's not like we will see them a few times. No, the Raiders will basically star in a new Netflix TV show.
Last season, Netflix did a quarterback show featuring Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings, and Marcus Mariota of the then-Atlanta Falcons. Netflix will be doing something similar but with wide receivers.
Of course, which team has the best receiver in the league? Yes, Davante Adams is the first name on the list and will be one of the show's stars. The cameras followed him and several other receivers last season, such as the Vikings' Justin Jefferson, San Francisco 49ers' Deebo Samuel and George Kittle, and the Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown.
When the quarterback version aired last season, we saw an entirely different side of those players, including the mic'd-up version of Patrick Mahomes and Maxx Crosby trash-talking one another. So, one can guess we will see Adams in a way we have never seen him.
Think about all the drama last season with the Raiders. Now think about how much drama Davante Adams had, whether it be him talking about the offense being bad, his letter, or even his letting the front office know he doesn't agree with letting Derek Carr walk.
Hopefully, all of that will be caught on camera. The show should do well, and we will see the more personable side of Adams, who is known as a guy who keeps it mostly football when it comes to how much he allows the fans and others to see in his daily life.
