One of the Tennessee Vols' 2025 recruiting targets revealed this week when he plans to announce his commitment.

Four-star running back Tory Blaylock tweeted on Tuesday evening that he plans to commit on March 29.

Blaylock's top six schools are Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas.

Blaylock, 5-foot-11/190 lbs from Humble, TX, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 17 running back in the nation and the No. 32 player in the state of Texas.

The talented running back, who is the son of former NFL running back Derrick Blaylock, visited Tennessee last summer.

"Coach (Josh) Heupel is a great guy as well as a great coach and I feel the offensive schemes they run fit me very well," said Blaylock to On3 this week of his interest in the Vols.

The Oklahoma Sooners are currently viewed as the favorites for Blaylock, thanks in large part to the presence of running backs coach DeMarco Murray.

"Got a lot of love for Coach (Brent) Venables and Coach Murray," explained Blaylock to On3. "Coach Murray has been at the level of play I want to be at and I feel he can get me there and also build me up as a man off the field.”

Heupel was the quarterbacks coach at Oklahoma when Murray was a star running back for the Sooners in the late 2000s.
