Don't ever say Mike McDaniel doesn't have a good sense of humor.

The Miami Dolphins' second-year head coach often shows off a dry one, especially with the media.  It's all in good fun and brings a welcome light-heartedness to his weekly press conferences.

However, the Dolphins' head man just put on a short but memorable performance on a much larger scale.  Appearing on a short video promoting the ManningCast, McDaniel offered his blunt thoughts to Peyton and Eli Manning, who were "searching" for a new co-host.

Following fellow head coaches Sean Payton, Sean McVay, and Dan Campbell and Jets RB Dalvin Cook, McDaniel hits the Manning brothers with the following "you guys are terrible evaluators and go **** yourself."  The amusing moment was perhaps the highlight of the clip that included appearances from celebrities across the sports, music, and entertainment industries.

The video ended with the 2023 schedule for the ManningCasts this fall on Monday Night Football, which are as follows:

  • Week 1 – September 11: Bills vs. Jets
  • Week 4 – October 2: Seahawks vs. Giants
  • Week 5 – October 9: Packers vs. Raiders
  • Week 7 – October 23: 49ers vs. Vikings
  • Week 9 – November 6: Chargers vs. Jets
  • Week 10 – November 13: Broncos vs. Bills
  • Week 11 – November 20: Eagles vs. Chiefs
  • Week 13 – December 4: Bengals vs. Jaguars
  • Week 15 – December 18: Chiefs vs. Patriots
  • Wild Card – January 15: TBD vs. TBD

The addition of a third co-host, as teased by the video, apparently could come from any number of directions.  However, it will not include the man looking to get the Miami Dolphins back to the Super Bowl for the first time since January 1985.
