Week two of the preseason is here, meaning we're one step closer to the regular season.
In the new preseason format, the second game is usually the game in which the starters get the most action. We should find out quite a bit about this team and where players stand so far. Here's how to watch:
Tennessee Titans (0-1) at Minnesota Vikings (0-1)

Betting odds: Titans -2.5, Over/Under 36.5

Will the Vikings play the starters?
Per Kirk Cousins, the starters are "not necessarily expecting to play," against the Titans.
The teams have had plenty of practice against each other this week, so it seems like the majority of starters won't play. I expect the entire offensive line to play, however, as that unit needs reps before the season.
You can probably bet on the entire defense playing. With so many spots up for grabs, it makes sense to have the young guys on the field. The players who have been battling injury, like Brian Asamoah and Jordan Addison, obviously won't play.
Will Jaren Hall have a bounceback performance?
Hall went 6/14 for 37 yards in his first preseason action. The rookie looked uncomfortable and the backup line had Hall running for his life. Hall will get more comfortable and growing pains are expected. This second preseason game will tell us how resilient Hall is and if he can learn from his mistakes.
I expect the starting offensive line to get more time this week, so that should help Hall. The rookie has a perfect opportunity to show the Vikings he can play.
Three Players to Watch:
- LB Ivan Pace Jr.: Pace has been the talk of camp for the Vikings, and rightfully so. The UDFA tied for the team lead in tackles last week and should get plenty of playing time this week as well. Brian Asamoah has been nursing an injury, so Pace has a perfect opportunity to show he belongs.
- RB DeWayne McBride: McBride seemed like a surefire bet to make the roster, but things are less certain now. McBride was ineffective against the Seahawks last week and seems to have fallen behind Ty Chandler. Kene Nwangwu is dealing with an injury and McBride still hasn't stood out. He could be in a better position with a big game.
- CB Andrew Booth Jr.: Booth desperately needs a bounce-back game against the Titans. The former second-round pick struggled against the Seahawks and has done little to prove he deserves a larger role. Booth has been behind Joejuan Williams and Akayleb Evans all summer. The Titans don't have the most dangerous weapons in the league, so Booth should have a better game.
