The Tennessee Titans are set to play their second preseason game on Saturday. After suffering a defeat to the Chicago Bears, the team faces another NFC North team in the Minnesota Vikings.
Several players put themselves firmly in the conversation for roster spots after strong performances against the Bears. A few others may need a big performance this week to save their roster spot.
Today, I want to identify three players who need a big game against the Vikings.
DL Naquan Jones

Jones was a player who seemed fairly safe at the beginning of summer. The lineman has played in 24 games over the last two seasons after being signed as a UDFA.
However, this summer, Jones has been pushed by Jayden Peevy, Tyler Shelvin, Jaleel Johnson, and TK McClendon Jr. The team also recently added veteran DT Kyle Peko to the mix.
Jones failed to show up on the stat sheet against the Bears, which only hurts his chances. This defensive line is deep, and Jones may need a big game to get back into the mix.
WR Racey McMath

It might be a shock to see McMath on this list after his performance against the Bears. McMath led the Titans in receiving with three catches for 53 yards. However, that still may not be enough to secure McMath’s roster spot.
DeAndre Hopkins, Treylon Burks, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Chris Moore, and Kyle Philips are all locks. This means that McMath has to beat out Colton Dowell, Mason Kinsey, Reggie Roberson Jr., and others. On the unofficial depth chart released by the team, McMath was included among the third-string receivers, behind Kinsey and Roberson.
McMath has struggled with injury as well, playing in just 14 games over two seasons. There may not be room for a receiver who doesn't return kicks and isn't especially fast.
RB Hassan Haskins

When it comes to Haskins, his legal troubles have to be considered. We do not know all of the facts, but it certainly can’t help Haskins’ chances.
Sticking on the field, Haskins still has several things going against him. For one, the RB got banged up against the Bears and missed practice time this week. Additionally, Haskins struggled in his limited snaps, getting just 12 yards on six carries. Haskins returned two kicks as well for a total of 40 yards.
With Haskins failing to impress as a returner and facing stiff competition at RB, there may not be room on this roster. Tyjae Spears, Jonathan Ward, and Julius Chestnut are all competing for snaps behind Derrick Henry and have all flashed at times this summer. The team also added Jacques Patrick this week who should receive some snaps this weekend as well.
Haskins can quiet all the talk by finishing off strong this preseason. As of now, I haven't seen any reason why Haskins should make the team.
BREAKING: Titans WR Treylon Burks carted off with injury in Vikings practice
The Titans may receive some terrible injury news on their young star.
