The Green Bay Packers saw wide receiver Romeo Doubs return to practice on Thursday, but fellow receiver Christian Watson was a lot harder to find.
In fact, no one could find him, at all, during the early portions of Packers practice.
Per Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, he eventually made his way onto the field, but only as a bystander.
On the other hand, the Packers received a boost thanks to wide receiver Romeo Doubs' return to the practice field as a limited participant, while David Bakhtiari was held out for the second straight day. He did say after practice that the plan is to play Sunday against the Bears. Rookie wideout Dontayvion Wicks was upgraded to full, as well.

“He [Doubs] looked good,” LaFleur told reporters after practice. “He took a couple reps in each team period and all the routes on air. He looked good. We’re not going to put him in a position to miss a longer period of time. If he’s feeling good, he’ll be out there.”
As for the Chicago Bears, former All-Pro safety Eddie Jackson was upgraded to a full participant after a limited Wednesday session, which is a big boost for the secondary. Second-year safety Jaquan Brisker was also upgraded to full, so it looks like the Bears are going to be at max power when it comes to their starting safeties. Starting defensive linemen Demarcus Walker also joined the upgrade party to give the Bears a nice round of good news.
Veteran Marcedes Lewis was given a rest day and starting offensive guard Nate Davis didn't practice because of personal reasons that haven't been specified. Reserve linebacker and special teams player, Dylan Cole, missed a second straight practice as he deals with a hamstring injury.

In terms of the Packers, a best-case scenario for Friday would be a full upgrade for Doubs and at least a limited session for Watson. The door would still be open for both players if neither scenario were to happen, but, the odds of Watson playing would be drastically lower – although not impossible.
