The Arizona Cardinals have released the final injury report for their road clash against the Washington Commanders.
Arizona officially listed tight end Zach Ertz as questionable for Week 1. Ertz, who suffered a season-ending knee injury last season, was a limited participant in practice for the third straight day on Friday. If Arizona ends up ruling out Ertz on Sunday, then Trey McBride is expected to slot into the starting tight end role against Washington.
Marquise "Hollywood" Brown has also been provided an injury designation of questionable for Arizona’s upcoming regular season opener. Brown was limited in practice all week due to a nagging hamstring ailment.
The Cardinals will be without Kelvin Beachum on Sunday. Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon revealed during a press conference on Friday that Beachum "banged his hand," earlier this week, and the call has been made to officially rule him out for Week 1.
As expected, Cardinals linebacker Dennis Gardeck was not issued any injury designation for Week 1. Gardeck suffered a knee ailment during the Cardinals’ preseason encounter with the Kansas City Chiefs last month, but after being a full participant in practice this week, he has been provided the green light to play against the Commanders.
