The Buffalo Bills are making their final preparations for their upcoming matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, their second preseason game.

All eyes will be on Buffalo as Sean McDermott has already reported that Allen and the starters are going to be playing up to a quarter and a half of football. With some question marks on the offensive line, along with the battle for WR3, depth at the S position, and so much more.

For some, this is a dress rehearsal and their push for even more playing time. Be on the lookout for some dark horse candidates to really ball out. With all that being said, here's how you can tune in to watch the game.

How much will Josh Allen really play?

I previously wrote about Sean McDermott's decision to play the starters a little over a quarter in their matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

However, that can all change. Is Allen going to come in for one series, throw one pass and call it a day? (We hope so).

Undoubtedly, McDermott wants these starters to kick off a little of the rust and allow Ken Dorsey a crack at some actual game planning with his starting offense on the field. Here's hoping the Bills load Allen up with some bubble wrap and we don't see him for too many plays in the Steelers game.

Will Andy Isabella get first-team reps?

The legend of Andy Isabella grows with each passing day. I previously wrote about how Isabella has been making noise at camp, including taking some reps with the first-team offense.

Buffalo recently brought him in and was a long shot to make the roster. With a few big plays in their first preseason game, Isabella has earned a shot at more playing time. What he will do with it is the biggest question we have before kickoff.

3 players to keep an eye on

  • RB Jordan Mims: In limited playing time, Mims shined with a highlight-reel and Josh Allen-esque type hurdle. The runningback room is crowded and Mims will have to continue to impress if he hopes to make it on the active roster come the regular season.
  • LB Tyrel Dodson: There's been more negativity than positivity around Dodson after a few straight practices of heated exchanges and helmets being thrown around. McDermott voiced that this unit needs to step it up, if Dodson wants to be the starter for the Bills come the regular season, these next few games are going to be really important.
  • S Damar Hamlin: Hamlin will look to continue his remarkable journey to recovery and secure his position behind Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde as a valuable piece of depth for this team. Here's hoping Hamlin has another highlight-reel type play and ignites the fanbase, once again.
