Packers Family Night was certainly a lot of fun as the fans were entertained by several big plays on both sides of the ball.
It was a great way to end the first week of training camp and coincidentally, it ended with a bang when Jordan Love found Christian Watson in the end zone to cap off the Green Bay Packers' final two-minute drill of the night.
So, without further ado, let's dive into the three guys on offense that saw their stock rise.
Three Offensive Winners After Packers Family Night
QB Jordan Love

Many wondered how the first-year signal-caller would handle tens of thousands of screaming fans after a largely inconsistent camp. Sure enough, Love showed plenty of promise that should have everyone feeling pretty good about his development, thus far.
Per reports, Love started his Family Night practice 1-of-5, but finished 10-of-14 and was very efficient in red zone drills, two-minute drills, and on third downs. He threw three touchdown passes -two in RZ and one during the two-minute drill– to cap off a solid night.
When Love was off, it wasn't anything representative of a drive-killing mistake, poor pass/poor decision-making, or anything of that nature.
Still, it's about stacking days, at this point. So, we'll see how he does on Monday when the team resumes practice.
TE Tucker Kraft

Multiple reports opined Saturday night was Tucker Kraft’s best practice of training camp and that Luke Musgrave’s skills -especially his speed- were on full display, yet again.
It's the play of Kraft that stood out the most, though. He is a true in-line tight end that plays the "Y" position. Meaning, he can block and catch – and he'll be asked to do both.
That's huge for an already-versatile Packers offense. Kraft's on-field presence won't tip the offense's hand since he can block and catch. And his continued improvement will also offset the big loss of Marcedes Lewis to the Chicago Bears.
Kraft mentioned how he's a better player when the pads come on, so it's nice to see him living up to that promise. Now it's about doing what he did Saturday night on a consistent basis.
OL Sean Rhyan

Of all the players that needed to have a good great training camp – Rhyan's name was easily at the very top of the list.
So far, Rhyan has looked really good when he's been on the practice field and he's saying all the right things when it comes to flushing his disastrous rookie year and moving forward.
“I’m just trying to play loose. Because last year I was so tense and trying to do everything perfectly, and it’s not perfect. So, let it go,” Rhyan recently told reporters. “Mistakes are going to happen. We can correct mistakes. But we’ve got to play fast, too. So that’s what my emphasis is this camp. Just trying to play fast and loose."
Rhyan hasn't cracked the starting lineup, but the top-6 appears to be set, so that's not an indictment, whatsoever. The key is the fact that, per reports, he's been borderline-dominant against the Packers depth players, which is exactly what you want to see out of a fellow depth player.
He’s been invincible of late, though most of his wins have come against second- and third-teamers such as rookie Colby Wooden. While Royce Newman got the start for Elgton Jenkins on Saturday night, Rhyan has had the better camp. When it’s time to pick the 53-man roster, don’t be surprised if Rhyan is one of the next men up and Newman is on his way out. – Bill Huber, Packer Central

There are two other names that have to be mentioned, here, and that's UDFA WR Malik Heath and rookie placekicker Anders Carlson.
Heath balled out during Packers Family Night, catching two touchdown passes and showing off some nifty moves as he sliced through the defense at one point. It's logical to think the Packers carry just five receivers into the 2023 season, so it'll be interesting to see if Heath can crack what is probably the top-5 of Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Samori Toure, and Dontayvion Wicks.
Carlson is obviously not a true offensive player, but hey, he can still put points on the board – so he technically counts. Regardless, he made 9-of-10 field goal attempts after making just 16-of-27 before.
It's nice to see the offensive pieces surfacing. There's obviously a long way to go and the unit needs to show consistency, but Saturday night was a step in the right direction – we'll just have to wait and see if the Packers stay on the path.
Peyton Manning made sure Packers’ Jordan Love is on the right track
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is trying to carve out his own legacy, so he needs all the insight he can get when it comes to advice on accomplishing the goal. He received one of the best avenues for both on Tuesday when NFL legend, Peyton Manning, showed up to Packers practice. The immediate […]
