Las Vegas Raiders Josh Jacobs

It's been quiet as of late from the Las Vegas Raiders camp in terms of drama. Which, yes, is very unlike them. At least, that's how most of the 2023 offseason has been.

Between the Derek Carr drama, Davante Adams drama, Jimmy Garoppolo signing, and now the Josh Jacobs contract ordeal, yeah, it's been hectic.

The last we heard of Josh Jacobs, he was heading on a plane to go back home to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Now, we are hearing some more news about the situation.

According to Josina Anderson, the Raiders are open to restarting talks with running back Josh Jacobs, who led the entire league in rushing last season.

Jacobs was upset about the franchise tag and what the Raiders are offering him and has even taken some of his frustrations to Twitter. At the end of the day, though, he wants to be in Las Vegas long term.

Hopefully, we continue to see positive reports like this one. While the running back position is very expendable, what Jacobs did last season is not that expendable. They will need help finding another guy to do what Jacobs did in 2022.
