The Las Vegas Raiders made an addition to their roster.
Earlier this week, the Raiders cut tight end O.J. Howard, which was odd given the history. Howard signed in the offseason and was once a guy who looked to have a very high ceiling in Tampa Bay.
However, things didn't work out.
That move led to the Raiders making another, but it was a reunion this time.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Raiders signed former tight end Jacob Hollister, who played three games last season with the team on special teams. He also played for McDaniels in New England in both 2017 and 2018.
The Raiders cut Howard because the guys in front of him were just better, yet, Howard wasn't great at special teams. Now, that's what they need, a guy who can come in and do the dirty work. That is exactly what Hollister is.

The Las Vegas Raiders recently made a move that has a bigger meaning behind it than you may think.
