The Dallas Cowboys have been busy the last few days when it comes to decisions on their roster.

On Friday, it was reported that the Cowboys will place the franchise tag on running back Tony Pollard if no long-term deal is reached by Tuesday's deadline.

Dallas made another move on Saturday, and that was placing a second-round tender on right tackle Terence Steele who is a restricted free agent.

The second-round tender is worth $4.3 million.

Other teams have until April 21 to reach a deal with Steele. However, the Cowboys can match any offer sheet.

Dallas wants Steele to be on the team for the foreseeable future. If they don't match an offer sheet, the Cowboys will receive a second-round pick in return, making this a win-win situation for them.

The Cowboys covered all of their bases on this move. Now, the next month or so will be intriguing to see how it plays out.
