NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah, who has led the charge in Draft coverage for years now, had a conference call to answer questions about the much-anticipated event.

In the process, he had a great answer to one question that has lived rent-free in the minds of Buffalo Bills fans:

When asked about who could be the best-fit wide receiver for Buffalo based on what the team already has in Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis, Jeremiah had a couple of names in mind.

Daniel Jeremiah's best first-round fits for Bills at WR revealed:

"Jaxon Smith-Njigba would probably be one that I would think would be a nice complement there," said Jeremiah. "If you are looking for somebody who can do some of that in the middle of the field, he gives you that."

"Gabe (Davis) can play more over the top and Diggs kind of does everything," he added for the context of the Bills-specific situation.

"That would be one I would think would be a really good fit there as a really good player."

The Ohio State wide receiver has certainly positioned himself as one of the best prospects in the Draft and could realistically be available when the Bills pick at 27th overall.

But that's not the only name the Draft expert had in mind as a fit for Buffalo.

"I love Zay Flowers. I know he is not the biggest guy in the world at a little over 5'9", 182 pounds, but he is a clone of T.Y. Hilton," Jeremiah said of the prospect out of Boston College.

Among the NFL Draft community, it appears that Flowers has quickly become everybody's favorite pet cat at WR.

If front offices around the league feel the same way, he might not be there for the Bills when the time comes for them to make their first pick.

"I think (Flowers) is a great player. I think he is going to go somewhere into the late first into the early second round," added Jeremiah.

"We'll see how he runs, but I'm a big fan of his."

Despite years of high-end offensive production, the Bills know they have to do a better job surrounding Josh Allen with talent. as GM Brandon Beane navigates a tough salary cap situation, the best way to do that might be through their first-round pick.

Will Buffalo be able to use it on a WR or an OL as Jeremiah suggested in his mock draft?

We'll find out. But in the meantime, there are two names the Bills could be looking at if a wide receiver is the pick when they finally get on the clock.
