ESPN predicts how far the Tennesese Vols will advance in the NCAA Tournament
The Tennessee Vols will take on the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns in the first round of the NCAA Tournament
The Tennessee Vols will take on the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns in the first round of the 2022-23 NCAA Tournament on Thursday night.
If the Vols beat Louisiana, they'll take on the winner of Duke/Oral Roberts in the second round on Sunday.
The assumption is that Duke will beat Oral Roberts, potentially setting up a heavyweight matchup between the Vols and the Blue Devils in the round of 32.
After the bracket was revealed on Sunday, ESPN's Jeff Borzello predicted how each round of the NCAA Tournament will play out.
Borzello has Tennessee beating Louisiana 67-60 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. He then has the Vols losing to Duke 66-63 in round two.
Tennessee fans might not like it, but that's a reasonable prediction for the Vols after their up-and-down play the last couple of months.
Borzello, by the way, has Alabama winning it all this year.
