The contract details for Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Germaine Pratt's new deal are in.

Pratt agreed to terms on a three-year, $21 million contract to stay with the Bengals.

The deal includes a $7 million signing bonus, which makes up all the guaranteed money in the contract.

Included in the contract is a $1 million roster bonus for 2024 (if on the roster on the fifth day of the 2024 league year), $250,000 in per-game roster bonuses, playtime incentives, and $100k in workout bonuses in all three years of the deal.

Here’s how the deal breaks down by year:

2023: $2.75M base salary; $5,403,921 cap hit
2024: $3.2M base salary; $6,883,333 cap hit
2025: $5.25M base salary; $7,933,334 cap hit

For a 27-year old playing ascending into his prime, this is quite a team-friendly deal for the Bengals. The franchise typically honors the life of contracts they sign, but Cincinnati can get out of this deal in 2025 with $5.6 million in cap savings.
