Former Tennessee Vols pitcher Ben Joyce has officially made it to the MLB. He made his debut yesterday, tossing one scoreless inning. Joyce struck out two batters. His stuff looked very impressive, and he caught headlines across the league. Check out some of the pitches from his first MLB outing below.
Joyce made the jump from double-A straight to the majors for the Angels. They clearly thought that his talent was ready for a spot in their bullpen. So far, he's proving them right.
Expect the former Vols flamethrower to continue to be an important piece in the Angels bullpen going forward.
