One former New England Patriots captain is following in his brother's footsteps.
Staying busy in retirement, Devin McCourty is joining the NBC "Sunday Night Football" broadcast as an analyst on their pregame show, New York Post's Andrew Marchand reports.
His twin brother, Jason McCourty, retired one year earlier and since then has been a host on the NFL Network's "Good Morning Football." He also worked as a radio analyst for Westwood One.
Marchand also reported that Devin McCourty is expected to call some games for Westwood One.
Devin McCourty retired following his 13th season with the New England Patriots, finishing his career with three Super Bowl championships and as a two-time Pro Bowler.
In his final season, Devin McCourty worked as an analyst for "NFL Today" on CBS, but without the constraints of a football season, he will have plenty of time to focus on his broadcasting career.
Devin McCourty will be joining another Ex-Patriots, with New England Hall of Famer Rodney Harrison also broadcasting for NBC "Sunday Night Football."
Known for his previous work and guest appearances on his brothers show, Devin McCourty is clearly no stranger to the broadcast world.
So, the McCourty brothers are being sure to stay busy in retirement and are aiming to dominate the sports media scene.
